Badaling Great Wall is the site of the most visited section of the Great Wall of China. Badaling Great wall is located 50 miles (80 km) northwest of urban Beijing city in Yanqing County. The Badaling Great Wall averages 7.5 meters in height. It is 6.5m wide at the base and 5.8m wide at the top - wide enough for five horses or ten soldiers side by side. The Great Wall of China is the longest man-made structure in the world stretching 2,150 miles with a further 1,780 miles of branches and spurs. Now, Badaling great wall was visited by millions of tourists from China and foreign countries. It is the most visted section of Great wall of China. They are both sited on the same natural pass through the mountains to the north of Beijing and hence a critical point of defence.
