Why the faffing about? You can't install an App Store ipa (free or otherwise) if you don't have a patched MobileInstallation file (a-la AppSync).
The source is up on GitHub, you should be able to import it in to Xcode, compile it yourself and install it on your device.

Hey I just ordered a white Torrent Touch and hopefully it should be here sometime this week. If people want I can do a review and probably some pictures.
Good.
Sure... But I'm doing the exact same thing, and I just happened to have mentioned it, so don't advertise it here.
What?....

"I guess my concern is with the unfamiliarity with the structure of the backup folder itself. Leaves me wondering what may happen if/when technology fails and this becomes corrupt for something."
This is EXACTLY why I recommend to others that they DO NOT use Time Machine for backups.
Time and time and time again -- right here on Macrumors -- I read postings of the essence, "help, my hard drive crashed, and I'm trying to access my Time Machine backup, and it won't mount, etc., etc."
If they had used one of the "clone" backup utilities that create bootable backups in POFF (plain ol' finder format), they wouldn't be posting those messages. They'd be up and running in a matter of minutes.
But because of the way TM "packages" its backups, there can be problems in "moments of extreme need". And we see the results right here on Macrumors.
TM gives the illusion of making backups simple, easy, and "automatic", and, as far as that goes, it does. It's EASY to "backup" with Time Machine.
What can be DIFFICULT is trying to ACCESS those backups later on when the user is beset with all kinds of problems.
Yes, it takes more effort and forethought when you use CarbonCopyCloner or SuperDuper as you backup tool. BUT -- when things have gone all to h*** and you're wondering what to do next, they make it blindingly EASY to get restarted. TM does not.
That's the difference.

Any idea as to what flavor of Wiki is being supported on Leopard Server? It looks home-grown to me, based on the features and the screen shots... Hope they will make it available separately.

I have in my possession a macbook pro 15 2.3ghz quad core and mac pro 6-core. I used to use the mac pro with a 27" led, but do to annoying glare that just gave me headaches, I got rid of it and got a 30" instead. I also have an ipad for just random stuff, and just watching movies on the plane if needed.
So I lost a contract and thus need to cutdown on costs tremendously. I'm a developer and do apple / windows development (windows in vm, and xcode). I have 3-4 VMs running in fusion (usually one at a time). I also enjoy games like wow, portal, portal 2 now (wonderful!), and maybe others in the future. Games are definitely faster on a windows machine, but the mac pro handles them well. Although playable, I really do not want to play games on the macbook pro.
So the question....
Should I sell the macbook pro (already got a buyer) for $2800 and just keep mac pro + ipad. This is fine but eventually may need a laptop when I start traveling again.
or
Should I sell mac pro (already got a buyer for $3800) and keep macbook pro 15 + ipad. Keep the macbook pro for all work related things and build a cheap gaming rig (800-1000$) for just games and personal windows software? I like the separation of personal + games / business for this choice, but sometimes will want to work on the big monitor so switching the cabling between the gaming rig and laptop will get annoying (never tried working primarily on just laptop).
Thoughts? And thanks so much all for replying a head of time!!

I did this years ago on a MacPlus with a dialup account but discovered that MacTCP v2.0.6 would reliably crash.
Downgrading to MacTCP 2.0.4 fixed that problem but I never discovered exactly where or why this conflict occurred.

What version XCode are you running? If I remember correctly minimum version is 3.2.6
It's 3.2.6 from my Snow Leopard install disk.

You can get 99 cent cases on Ebay right now from a seller called Ashopone. They are located in Hong Kong. Nice seller though, I've bought a bunch of cases for my iPhone 4 from him, and recently ordered 5 iPod touch 4th gen cases as well.

What to expect:
There will be a new iPhone this year - in Summer.
The new iPhone will have the same dual-core "A5" chip as the iPad 2. Possibly at a lower clock speed than the iPad 2, similar to the A4 in the iPad 1 vs. iPhone 4.
Those two are effectively "givens".
The other possibilities, one or more of which may happen:
More RAM - 1 GB.
Higher quality camera(s) - one or both (720p front camera with LED light for in-the-dark FaceTime, anyone?)
New case design.
More storage.
4G (VERY likely LTE, since that's what both AT&T and Verizon are moving to.)
Single-device for both GSM and CDMA (very possible, since there are LTE chips that support both GSM and CDMA; but also very possible to NOT have it because GSM and CDMA require completely different antenna designs.)
iOS 5.
Then of course, there are the complete unknowns. New "light" iPhone alongside the main iPhone? Some completely unthought-of feature?
Name? Could be "iPhone 4G" could be "iPhone 4GS", could be "iPhone 5". All of the choices seem like valid possible choices to me. However, I have seen enough people refer to the existing iPhone 4 as the "iPhone 4G" that I doubt Apple would call it that, solely to avoid confusion.

at least the original Rebels had issues with the bottom sagging a little. the rebel is a rubber piece with a plastic exo-skeleton that snaps over the rubber.
i went with the Neo because it is super thin rubber, then two plastic frames that click over, plus it is thinner than the Rebel. better protection, no sagging. i'm not sure on the Torrent.
the Neo (and Rebel I believe) come with a dock adapter so if the Bose sounddock uses the universal dock then they would fit no problem.

The fact that CD is a blatant copy of GTA.........

Because of the success of the Grand Theft Auto series, notably Grand Theft Auto III and subsequent games, several other developers have attempted to replicate GTA's driving/shooting formula and open-ended sandbox play. Notable games that are often seen as doing so include:

Why didn't you guys go with something that had worked for many people like the gevey adapter? Instead of taking a chance with something unknown?
I'm not a fan of constantly dialing 112 if I reboot. In the UK 112 is actually 911.

Yeah, I thought that was amazing. I'm not sure how well it goes with his work though - I was expecting interesting cutting-edge work, not bland corporate stuff. But, yes, a great site.
http://www.thibaud.be/ is also an excellent portfolio site.
