[I think that is the English way. I'm currently living in England, and it seems like they get to things whenever they feel like it. Basically a tea break comes before anything else] hahahahahahaha LOL :)

I understand the need for separation on a system wide basis but not between processes being controlled by the same app.

There was some 2011 13 inch models in the refurb section at the end of last week. They didn't stay there very long. I have not seen any 15 or 17 inch models personally. It might be a month or two before we see any of those models. Check the store several times a day if you can.

I have a HTC 8525 quadband smartphone pda in Mint condition for sale for AT&T/Cingular. It was used gently for about a year and had an invisible shield on the screen during it's use and also was in a Krussell leather carrying case that it comes with. It comes in the original box with all original materials (manuals, activesync, wall charger, etc.). The only thing you'll need to add is a SIM card. This phone is not unlocked, but it can be done for about $5-$10 on ebay.
I must sell this week so if you're interested please let me know ASAP.
Asking $225. I accept payments via Paypal.
I've bought and sold items on macrumors and have 100+ positive ebay feedback as a buyer and seller.
PM me if interested.

what happens when we get beyond iPad 9 or 10 will apple continue using numbers or will they call it something else? I mean iPad 10 sounds dumb even iPad 9 sounds stupid.

Thanks for the info. I am looking for a 15" model. I cross posted this in the MBP section of the forum and someone there also mentioned the 13" models. It is good news that some of them are starting to show up. Hopefully they'll get some 15" models up there soon.

Since your machine is a 300mhz, it is a Rev 1 unit. These will NOT support more than 1 HD on the internal ATA bus. You best bet is to get an ATA pci controller card, and connect your HD's to it.
For the best performance and value, go with a Serial (SATA) card & drives......way faster, no size limits, and can be moved to new macs later.
Ok my only problem with getting SATA is that I will then have to go out and buy an entirely new HD instead of useing one I have laying around. I didn't want to put a ton of money into my $15 mac;)
And my rev 1 can't have two HDs? It doesn't even support a slave/master option? What if I took the CD drive out temporarly and hooked it up on that IDE connecter? Just so that I could move OS9 to the new HD?

Just venting I suppose.
Pissing about how much non-biodegradable plastic (created with some by product of ozone destroying OIL no doubt) your MWSF 2008 badge is made with is... NUCKING FUTS!
My official clinical diagnosis: BONKERS!

Local paper covering a local company now selling this tablet that looks like a giant iPhone 3 knockoff running windows 7.
Some people just don't get it-- like SJ said they're all about "speeds and feeds".
This is definitely worth a chuckle.

I wonder how long before apple sends them a cease and desist.

Since I assume you didn't get BT, and you've already ordered, I'd recommend the Apple keyboard and the Kensington StudioMouse Wireless (http://www.kensington.com/html/4768.html) - it is fantastic!

Yeah, you can get a router without wireless (or a wireless one and just disable that component). HERE (http://www.amazon.com/D-Link-DIR-601-Wireless-Home-Router/dp/B002VJL0OS/ref=sr_1_6?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1302889642&sr=1-6) is a good one from Amazon that has a heck of a discount right now.

You need to reinstall it in the same place, otherwise if you disconnect it your fan will spin at 5500 rpm non stop. learned this lesson when I broke the sensor a few weeks ago.

Sound cards, usb, firewire....Just wondering if I'm going to have to worry when I want to add stuff to my Mac
It's patchy and depends on the card and the chipset on it. For example OS X supports USB 2 cards with NEC chipsets on them. With Firewire it's another chipset. The best bet is to plug it in and see if it works. If it doesn't see if the vendor has drivers for it or google for it.

Holy Crap! I can't believe someone would pay $2858.91 to be drug across the country by that crazy guy! Looks like they have hollywood types looking into filming this. I wonder if it's one of them bidding on it.

I'll be queuing for a 64Gb 3G model, but I spoke to the guys in the Eldon square store and the centre only gets unlocked for staff to come in at 7am so if we arrive earlier we get to queue outside the centre itself rather than the store which makes me wonder which entrance others are planning to wait at.
