I think of Netscape and AOL when I see this. Man was it hard to navigate back then! We have it so easy now.

FAIL. How ironic that you fail at reading post #6.
Where do you think that video comes from? When you visit the original page on iPad or iPhone you get non-flash version of the video.
Yeah right like the average non-dork actually read post #6 on their iPad. LOL
Gimme a break... FAIL!
Geeks always live in a whole other world than the average person.
I know because I'm a geek, but mostly don't have geek friends! :)
Nobody on this site ever gets that! LOL
By the way, Steve Jobs himself admitted that 75% of websites use Flash and that he was hoping it would get to 50% soon. Soon? What date on the calender is "soon?"
Now on my iPhone, that's not a really big deal. But I'd used a tablet for more and different things than an iPhone.
If you spend over $500 for a computer/tablet device that doesn't show 75% of the web content, I would think you'd be disappointed.

Since 10.6.4 I've experienced many Video Related problems, corrupt video data, slow performance and constant PS CS5 and Aperture 3 freezes and beach balls...(I use an Nvidia GTX 285 and a GT120 hooked up to 2 Monitors)
The whole computer is slow and unresponsive at times. I think I'm gonna be forced to reinstall Snow Leopard and go back to 10.6.3...
Apple is aware of the Aperture 3 problems and has been investigating. I have been in contact with them several times and still working on the problem. It seems related to the SL 10.6.4 update and NVIDIA video cards.

They are legit,
I have ordered my rebel sim card since Apr 13th and today has been shipped. I already have my DHL tracking number, it should be here in around 3 days. Will let you know if it works!

well the Nvidia does better in certain things while the 850 does better in others.
Also the 6800 allows for two 30" displays while no ATI allows that currently.
that being said i go for the ATI

Everything you're saying makes zero sense and does not accomplish what I'm looking to do.
OK, I'll try to make it simpler, so you can understand.

That's not true. An alias is just a shortcut, pointing to a location. If you use that method, there will only be one copy of the pic.
If you have a folder and you create an alias, anything you drag to the alias will actually be placed in the folder, as illustrated by the arrows labeled "2" in the screen capture above. You will not have one copy of a pic in the folder and another copy in the alias. An alias cannot contain pics or any files. It simply points to an existing file or folder.
You never have to go to the Photo Booth folder. As I said, you can drag the pics directly from the Photo Booth app to whatever folder you want, or to your Mail icon, to email it. You don't need to touch Finder at all, if you don't want to.
As you can see by the arrow labeled "1" in the screen capture above, you can drag pictures directly from Photo Booth into any folder you choose. You can also drag a picture to the Mail icon on your Dock to attach that picture to an email. You can also click on a picture in Photo Booth and press the "delete" key to delete the picture, so nothing is saved in the Photo Booth folder.
Also the fact they would make software that you cannot change the save location is the utmost stupidest thing I've ever heard of in my life and this is the only software or application in which you can't.
Actually, it's not. Address Book and iCal don't give you the option to change the location of their associated files, and they're not the only ones. It's not uncommon for an app to not provide a method for changing default locations of associated files.

Hello I'm new to the forums and to Motion and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to make a constant thin sparkly line.
1. Library -> Particle Emitters -> Glitter Sparkles -> Apply
2. Open Layer Panel
3. Delete bottom 2 layers
4. Click on Glitter Sparkles main layer group
5. Go to Inspector tab -> Emitter tab
6. Set Shape to Line
7. Set Start Point X to -(1/2 of the size of your canvas)
8. Set End Point X to 1/2 of the size of your canvas.
9. Change color over time features to suit your color needs
10. Adjust Life parameter to suit your needs.
I've attached a render of what it might look like.

I'm used to minimizing windows into application icon (to keep dock icon positions consistent ;) and using expose to pull them back up, which is hunky dory on Snow Leopard, but I'm trying out Lion DP2 and this breaks completely - is there any way to get MC to treat minimized windows as if they exist? I know you can swipe four fingers down at the app's dock icon but that just reduces the target area into a small square as opposed to the entire screen, which really hurts usability.

Steve gives the best interviews ever of any one in his position. I love watching them and I love his Keynotes! I train employees on Apple products at my work and I always base the way I present them on the way Steve presents. Ever since I started doing that I have receive non stop praise of my training skills.
I think to myself... I'm just emulating Steve Jobs, but thanks!

Just make sure it is set up to do the remote logins you want before you sell the monitor - it is a lot easier to set those things up while you still have monitor and keyboard access.

Hey guys, I'm beginning to use GarageBand and while I think it's an amazing app, I'm not a fan of the icon. I play piano, not guitar and would like to have a nice piano icon in its place.
Has anybody found any Apple like piano icons? I haven't been able to find any.

I had the black screen when waking just 5 minutes ago. Had to put my MBA to sleep, wait a couple seconds and wake it again to get the backlight to come on. I'd really like this fixed. I've been on 10.6.6 since the day it was released.

Why should the Bioshock moniker be connected to Andrew Ryan or Rapture? It is more connected to the plasmids.

you flash to that white apple logo - great opportunity to fade in the side of the G5 and after all the views, fade out to the white apple logo again. Makes it a little smoother.
And, for it to be accepted in the contest, you'll need to get it in the 75x75 and under 40k bytes.
