How much was the app? If it's only a dollar I'd just leave it. Why go through the hassle for a buck? It's really not worth it.

Is that $60 plus shipping costs? Also, what DVD's do you have to trade? I only have a GameCube now so that would be the only system I could consider game trades......other than Mac games of course.
I would GLADLY take a keyboard and mouse combo for $60.
Otherwise Im just interested in the keyboard.
PM me.
Im sure I have some stuff to trade to. DVDS, Ps2 Games, etc etc.

No, it was not vague. However, it is possibly illegal. M4V is MP4 with Apple iTunes DRM as an option. The OP is asking about breaking DRMed files.
I simply don't think that is the case here. Handbrake DOES generate m4v files. He isn't talking about apple DRM, which is only one feature of m4v.

While the Adobe apps no longer crash continually, they are really sluggish in SL.
...
Update 12.0.1 is out...doesn't mention the 10.6.4 issues, but it does say "A number of issues that could cause slow performance have been addressed."

I would suggest Kochan (http://www.amazon.com/Programming-Objective-C-2-0-Stephen-Kochan/dp/0321566157) for Objective-C and follow up with Hillegass (http://www.amazon.com/Cocoa-Programming-Mac-OS-3rd/dp/0321503619) for more Cocoa.

I have been looking all over the place, macrumors and greenpoison website to no avail. Every time I try the link to greenpoison it won't load the web page. I am not sure what I am doing right or wrong. I am trying to jailbreak my ipod touch 4.2.1 to see if I like it before doing my Verizon Iphone. Any help or links would be greatly appreciated. I am very new at this and this would be my first jailbreak ever. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you are correct. You should have taken the screen protector off of the back of the phone before you placed the case on it. I have three of the CaseCrown cases and I love the feel and look of the case on the iPhone 4. Besides, you really don't need a screen protector for the back of the phone because of the material that is on the case. Good luck on getting it off.

Thanks.

Here is a program that does that. We were talking about integrating it with the widget but that kinda died.

By hard, I mean like hard shells, like Griffin Reveal and stuff.
Hmmm... Well, the Rebel is kind of a siliconish material.

I just got home with my shiny new iPad2! The line was incredible -- it went from the Apple store down to Nordstrom and had looped all the way back to the Apple store by 5:00. I estimate 300 people or more.

Some of the flash sites are pretty bad, though. I think usability takes precedence over design, with the exception of Apple of course. Apple.com is probably the best designed and easily navigated site on the web.

Hey,
Here's what I'm thinking of and just wanted to know if anyone has any information on this:
I'm a big NHL fan and with playoffs under way - I changed my desktop background to a playoff bracket that shows all teams. The problem is that its a static background image. I would like is a dynamic live background. For example, after each game the bracket would automatically (live) update and show the scores of the last game and also the score in the series (each series being best of 7). It would be nice for other interactive live features too.
Does this make sense to anyone and if so, any ideas on if this type of an application exists? if so, where should I look.
Much appreciate your time.
Sunny

If you have an external drive I recommend time machine. You can back up your entire system and then restore after your clean installation. That includes apps and files.
You could also use something like Carbon Copy Cloner to make a full image of your disk.
Failing that all you can do is back up your files to another location or disk and re-install your applications after the clean install.

Well I'm 34 and have been gaming since commodore 64's were released. I'm not really into games of this kind but I have to say it's probably the greatest game i have ever played. Possibly with the exception of "elite". In fact I sold my 360 because the game was taking over my life......when i deleted my saved games there were over a thousand of them.....

There's an official BT client for OS X, an app called Tomato Torrent, and Azerus (sp?) also works.
