Apple is already sending out the emails for white iPhones. I imagine that's what the downtime is about.

Yeah? The Cydia page says "iOS 4+ required"?
It works just fine on my 1G iPod Touch running 3.1.3.

For lenses, I would be looking for a multi-purpose lens (for shooting at conventions, social events, vacations, or whatever...) and another one for macro work. I paint 28mm models and regularly share the images online. I don't bother with a light tent or anything like that, but since I have at least a basic foundation in place for my setup and how to make it work, my results are better than most. One example below, taken on a Nikon Coolpix P3 and with a tiny bit of processing in Photoshop.

I would definitely appreciate some input on a macro lens. Most individual models are about 28mm to the eyes, the model shown above is mounted on a 40mm diameter base, for example. Regiments/squads of troops, armored vehicles, etc. are quite a bit larger and introduce a lot more depth of field issues.

I've been running 32GB of RAM in my Mac Pro for a few weeks now and never had a problem with it. It's a fantastic deal :D
Is there something similar to memtest86 that will thoroughly test the RAM inside the Mac ??

edit: it appears to be the reed switch tha tI need to trigger, and it's in the trackpad. Only problem is that my trackpad that I yanked off the enclosure appears to be broken. So target disk mode is the only answer.
update: also, can I use this program if I don't have the pram battery board connected?

The same company also makes iStat Menus (http://bjango.com/mac/istatmenus/). Might be what you are looking for.

Thank you for replying.
There are several options to export but none of them seems to give great quality.
(I have the Boinx Istopmotion 2)
Here are the options I can choose from:
http://flic.kr/p/9pbtZB
I am working in 4:3 so and the HD options are only for 16:9 and when I tried exporting it anyway the image just gets streched out instead.
But I also just read in this forum that to get the uncompressed images when exporting from istopmotion you need the Istopmotion Pro. Do you think thats true?
Thanks and have a good evening!

That jornalist is an idiot. See the Apple logo on the back of all those 'phones'? That's not Apple's logo! That's Applele's logo, and MANY renderings have come out of that website for YEARS, all bearing that logo. It's just his expression of what he think would look cool on the Apple product line. This is in no way real!
Good day!

Okay, so my grandfather has agreed to help me with a computer for school. He said apple would be better(I can't figure out how an 83 year old man knows this).
He told me to get a final price after GST and everything.
It's mainly for school throughout the day. Some video watching and music. I'm not a gamer.
He said make it's it cheaper, but make sure its quality.
Mac mini is $749 here in edmonton before GST, and the 21.5" iMac is 1,299 before taxes.
I have a couple monitors and everything I need for the mac mini, but I can't decide what would last longer.
I'm coming from an HP laptop running windows 7.

That is not true. Costco has very thin profit margins on what it sells but the margins on there.
A couple of years ago Costco stopped selling Coke products for about a month as contract negotiations between the two hit an impasse. Being a massive retailer in the US means you have leverage (I think Costco is #3). I doubt that will sway Apple though as their popularity currently has them pretty much printing money.

^ this very much. No one is gonna sway Apple incase anyone didn't notice. Apple sways everyone else :)

Anyone going? I happen to be on a work assignment across the street from the mall, so I'm thinking about camping out. I was thinking 1 p.m., but now I'm thinking 12 p.m. might be a little safer? I'm looking to grab at 32 GB white WIFI.

How is this possible? The Wii's OS doesn't support DVD playback, and you can't control things such as Anamorphic Widescreen...

How about creating a forum for naive clueless people to post wistful optimistic and incredibly misguided or ill-informed speculation about the G5 Powerbooks coming next week? (And the week after that, and after that).

One might use #include for a C header or from a C source file. You can do it either way from Objective-C code. If the header is a C header then there should be no real difference.

I am kind of insulted this is a page 2 news story and not a page 1 story.
This will probably be Australia's most beautiful Apple store. And that's a mean feat cause all the Apple stores look good.
Oh well I shouldn't complain. Better page 2 then no page at all.

I'm not saying that your post really deserves a response, but c'mon...what do you expect? You downloaded and installed Kazaa, which is known for being spyware and adware infested and then you get (oh my!) adware and spyware. Not that surprising if you ask me.
With that said, just follow the directions that the last guy posted and you will get rid of it. There are versions of both Kazaa and limewire that come with or without adware and spyware, so just make sure that you are getting the good version (it might take some time to look for them.) Hope this helps!
