I am past the 14 day return window but I have only had my MBP for roughly a month now. I am noticing a dead pixel on the screen. Will Apple fix that or does Apple require a minimum amount of dead pixels to fix?

People didn't seem to care about the "gay plague" because it only affected gays. People cared about Ryan White and the Ray brothers, they didn't care about iniquitous obnoxious gays and lesbians.
So then they had sex with the person of opposite gender, they adopted or test tube baby.

I'm assuming that you are talking about ACT UP and their tactics...but iniquitous? Really? A bit dramatic even for you. They did what had to be done in a time when nobody wanted to acknowledge what was happening. And they also tried to fight the ignorance that was associated with the disease..IE..."gay plague". You are evidence that they need to continue their work.
Is a "test tube baby" (I do hope you know there are much more modern ways) by a gay/lesbian any less than that of a straight person? Does it matter how we are having them? The point is that we are. And snide remarks doesn't negate it. I understand that the concept is scary for you and people who think like you. I do hope that you can learn to adapt to our changing world. Because people like you are going to be left behind if you keep thinking and acting this way.

If the user (who knows nothing of design, fonts, color, etc.) has control over the presentation of a company's image then there is absolutely no point in having a designer. Might as well have the intern throw something up there. Think before you write.
That's good advice; why don't you take it? I've done quite a bit of professional design...print and web...and the user doesn't have "control over the presentation of a company's image" on a web site; the user has control (or should have control) over aspects of how that image is presented. That's why you have the ability to override text sizes and style sheets. As I said, the web is not print and should not be treated as such. If you have anything to do with web design and you don't understand that, I'd suggest getting out of the business before you inflict any more harm.

We reached 400k PPD which isn't great in itself except that this is without twoodcc's help, so when he will come back, we should reach our highest average yet.
Still we need more firepower. We still crunch at #65 average PPD, meaning we will be loosing ground again. Also the release of the new Sandbridge chips will hurt us. Non overclocked 4 cores single CPU can do 30k PPD with bigadv, or about what a 8 core 2.26Ghz Nehalem does. Seeing that Mac Pro won't get Sandbridge until 2012, this is going to be tough. Also NVidia releases the 560 ti for mid range with good performance for GPU Folding, which can't be done with Mac OS X...
Ultimately, the Macs make less and less sense for Folding.
Yet, I think here, many of us Folding aren't using Macs ;) for instance, the Macross. Full HD 5850 folding (only one of them currently) and 7 threads dedicated to CPU folding on a 3.8GHz i7-930.

And the engine choices suck because there are so many stupid people here who believe only a V6 or a V8 is a good engine while a TDI or a turbocharged 4 cylinder can have the same or better performance. Especially since you can't drive fast here anyway.
There is hope. One example: I'm no SUV fan, but the new Ford Explorer features engine choices (particularly the turbo 4 cylinder) that should significantly improve fuel economy over previous models. It's at least a small step in the right direction.
Volkswagen should bring the Polo to the US.

The iOS ecosystem is more mature than the Android system, and for that I am very happy for being on the iOS bandwagon.
Android doesn't have an ecosystem. The only thing that's close to have a full ecosystem is MS but even that lacks in a lot of major areas. So does apple's though in terms of mail/calendar/contact and sync in general. [MobileMe is NOT free. :|]
webOS seems pretty good but HP swears not to ship any product until the others swipe the market already. :rolleyes:

Among other things we basically placed them under an oil embargo their need for natural resources and they're inability to attain them from us in a peaceful manner encouraged them to invade.
