Obviously, if they are saying you are not allow, that means they can not stop you from doing so. It's a simple warning beacuse if you call them up about a problem in VM mode they will simply tell you it is not support and you will have to pay another $200 to get any support.
Remember once someone sells you something they can not tell you how you can use it. That like you buying a car and in the purchase agreement they tell you your not allow to wreck the car. Grant it, they do not have to warranty it after you wreck it, but if you want to wreck it, that is up to you.

white iphone is ugly late and unnecessary so apple can keep it.. they never made it cause demand was always lower for white ones and the white design look worse on iphone 4 than on 3gs..

Then you could just open the new brochure wizard. Set it up for four quadrants per page, front and back printing. Place your images & text in the proper quadrant in the proper orientation.

Autopage number the quadrants, and email the doc file to your printshop.Almost all professional printshops except word doc files and can print your brochure out on their professional quality printers on your paper of choice.
Good thing all printshops accept .pdf files!
But I guess you are stuck with a worthless .pages file and if you fart around with it long enough you might just be able to get something out that a print / copy shop could use.

I love the design of the iPhone 4 and love the screen. Why not just go with a Mac-like update routine, where you throw in a newer, faster processor as soon as one is available? The yearly iPhone reveal may be great for media coverage, but it's unrealistic when the Android gang releases a new device every 7 hours.

I'm not sure if it's just a bunch of "computer guys" around here, but in the gaming world Xbox 360 has a fair amount of cultural cachet. It's not my cup of tea, but it's pretty dang popular with youth culture. Microsoft already has a highly successful, profitable, and critically lauded online service in Xbox Live, with millions of subscribers.
I think it's a bit of wishful thinking to claim MS will "screw this up", since the infrastructure is already there, and it's already functioning in a lot of young people's homes.
Look, I'm the biggest Apple fan I know, but Microsoft has proven over and over that they can move into an arena with another market leader and chip away. They lost hundreds of millions on the Xbox, and went right ahead and made a successor. They don't care if they lose some money, because eventually, they will make money.
I would love to see iPod continue its success, but, aside from a current lead in marketshare, Microsoft has a lot going for it this time around.

Microsoft bought 150 million in non-voting stock. Hardly a controlling interest. They have since sold most if not all of that stock for a tidy profit. Apple in turn dropped the "Look and Feel" lawsuit (which they weren't going to win anyway) and MS promised updates to "Office" and IE. Microsoft has NO significant financial stake in Apple.
It had nothing to do with the "look and feel" lawsuit. Apple had lost that one five years earlier. The legal issues still remaining between Apple and Microsoft in 1997 were over multimedia.
Edit: And FWIW, Microsoft's "investment" in Apple amounted to about 5% of their market value at the time, which would hardly have been a controlling interest even if they stock bought them any votes, which it did not. Microsoft is thought to have divested the shares in 2000.

if MS makes it cheaper than an iPod then Apple might have some trouble. Parents/grandparents who are technologically ignorant will generally buy whatever Bestbuy salesman pimps to them for their kid. So if it is cheaper than an iPod with similar functions then a lot will be bought.
I think people are very wrong here.
iPod is the cool thing. It is the brand name. It is what everyone asks for, even if they're using a generic term.
If you have an identical iPod and identical Microsoft brand side by side, people will go for the iPod, because it is the standard they are comfortable with. Even my grandparents konw what an iPod is. It is the Windows / MS Office of the music player world.
I know its a hard thing to wrap our minds around, but in this particular space, Apple is the established gorilla and everyone has to fight for the extra mindshare. Actually, I'd call this bad news. It pretty much confirms that iP5 isn't coming any time soon.

In Australia, I'm getting the 15-inch with 2GB, 2.33GHz, 160GB HD, shipping on/before 1 Nov, arriving to Brisbane on/before 8 Nov. I couldn't justify spending an extra $A818.40 (edu price) for an extra GB of RAM nor an extra $A140.80 for the 200GB HD. Reviews of the 200GB HD at tomshardware.com say performance is very average, and I would have felt about queasy about such bleeding-edge HD technology.
I agree about the memory, but IMHO the 200GB is a no brainer. But then I like all my multimedia, you can't have too much space.

Depending on how useful the service is, one hundred dollars a year would probably be worth it.
