i've always wondered why someone doesn't put a small cam in a plugin module, similar in size to a USB cable dock connector. the cam would be facing forward of course, have a light for additional illumination and would be able to communicate with software on the iPhone to do video chatting.

Exactly. Keep it man. If you find they upgrade them, and you really want it, then flip it for a new one. You will still make out alright, and you wont be without a machine

My late 2006 does this if it has been asleep for a long time. I attribute the problem to a slow HDD. I didn't have the problem when I installed a 7200rpm drive.

If the MP refreshes this year then yes. I'm thinking they could write a Mac version of Lucidlogix virtu which would allow there being a TB port on the logic board and graphics to pipe through it.

While it is reasonable to wish to change your posting, I believe you overstep yourself by villifying the moderators for not taking care of your request. They probably have more in their lives than just catering to personal whims. Besides, if in the end you can' t change it, either post a contradictory message to advise against the song, or use it as a learning experience and don't post before you are sure of yourself.

not listed as a current study by stanford, but all folding research will help advance all knowledge of related disease. diabetes has been linked to mis-folded proteins, and work is ongoing by other universities. so it seems to be fixed... we cleaned it out and vacuumed it and it was still super loud, and then it went to sleep and was STILL super loud, and for some inexplicable reason when it came out of slumber it STOPPED making stupid sounds. we rebooted and no stupid fan sound.

No. The X1900 is 25% stronger. The Quadro's only good point is the extra ram. Its not worth the extra money.

As clearly stated at the start of the video - this machine is not mines. Im happy with my previous gen 27". Also re the MBA - if you are a regular viewer, I did indeed mention that it was my dads but having used it for a few days - I liked it and sold my MBP to buy myself a new MBA. In essence, I exchanged the MBP for a MBA - which i've said in countless videos.
I'll be trying out Mafia, Crysis and Portal 2 for game reviews and then doing speed tests - stay tuned.

I got my development job from learning PHP, once you start being able to hook into databases and write "real" functions (something that imo javascript isn't much good for) then you can do some really cool stuff :)

What is concerning to me is that I wrote a comment, "nice affiliate link" in that thread. And my comment was deleted. not flagged or edited -- deleted.
We generally don't send messages to people making post reports as it is a time consuming process. The moderator who handled this case recognized the affiliate link as being from MR so knew nothing needed to be edited in the OP's post. I'm not sure what flagging your post would have done, and if we simply edited every post members made that was an incorrect statement, it would needlessly clutter the forums. wOow... now that's something: after ~10 years since videocalling feature was firstly commercial available, seems that iPhone will (maybe/probably/hopefully?) get it in 2010 with a front camera. Now that's a fast to market thingy... not to mention the MMS. :o

I'm thinking about going all-Sidekick with T-Mobile, so I'm looking into selling my Samsung e105 color flip phone. About a year old, and is in good condition. Can be used with T-Mobile regular service, and also with To Go pay-as-you-go. Included with the phone are euro-adaptor, charger, leather case (cost $25) and a brand new belt clip I bought spur of the moment last week (darn Black Friday!)
Anybody interested? Gets great reception, and (shockingly) I have gone 4 and change days without plugging it in (to calibrate) and it lasted.

Calling Mac heads and Music heads!
Nothing too big..just need some specific and easy info on how to do something.
I am going to be using ustream to broadcast a radio station {seeing in how ustream is free}. I read this article: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2055197/step_by_step_instructions_on_starting.html?cat=3 - which states step-by-step what to do to create and get the ball rolling on such a project, but the guy is using a PC. Ugh. Gross.
I currently have a Numark NS7 Dj Turntable system and thought maybe I could hook that up and make it work as a mixer of sorts, but I tested that idea and it did not seem to work out how I thought. Anyone know if I am going to need to buy an external mixer? Is there a Mac program I can download? Any info would help.
