Nice upgrade :) ... but I was hoping for an 500GB SSD option :(
Apple's SSDs are always overpriced and slower than third-party ones anyways.

Just seems mental how the iMacs are now on second generation Core i processors, yet the Mini is still on C2D.

One of those reasons is that there is no AT&T signal at my house.
same here - literally maybe one bar in the house - texts usually come through when not in basement but definitely no calls. And i'm still loving the iphone every day - practically indispensable at work with epocrates.
thus while 30% sounds bad esp for a large metropolitan area, that would be great for me in my home.

Bunch of lying crap. My upgrade date hasn't "moved" as this lying reader claims happened to him, it is still 6/19/2011. Every year my upgrade date coincides very closely with the release of the new iPhone. AT&T isn't going to just push my date back (a date I earn by paying a lot every month) because there is no new iPhone in June. So this guy is confusing two separate issues in order to get his BS story out. Maybe the rep said that, maybe he didn't, but he has absolutely no info from Apple, because Apple would never ever ever ever make such a statement to AT&T.

Dont count Parallels out. They will eventually have multicore support in their app, and i am sure will keep getting better over time.

That's one naff design, Horrid I tell you absolutely horrid. In part too it contravenes apples design philosophy; No way would apple resign gesture control to the home key, if anything they would de-funk the home key and have the entire bottom edge as gesture control.

To work well it needs to contain all your apps and system files. For most people this means at least 100GB these days. Shockingly when I got my MBP in 2008 I thought a 200 GB drive would do it all for me. That really didn't last long at all.
Out of the factory, all the system files and bundled apps take up about 20GB. I can't imagine many people then install an addition 80GB worth of apps. If you're using up that sort of space, I'm guessing you're storing a fair bit of video.
My own personal setup is 128 GB SSD for current work. Old stuff gets archived to an external 2TB HD. It works for me.

If there is a physical difference, I find it strange that Apple A) wouldn't publish the numbers, and B) wouldn't provide specific sized bumpers for the white.

Interesting, and good news--surprised it took this long. Although the quoted article seems to show a bit of a misunderstanding about how the mouse actually works--yes, some people aren't comfortable with the way it detects clicks, but it has to do with the touch sensors, not "fat buttons".

This is a ridiculous assessment, based on nothing. Apple now has three growth businesses from which to build, and potentially a fourth. Hardly a company on earth would not envy Apple's potential.
Based on the verdict of the markets it would seem that Apple's potential is not so great...but you know better than that right ;)
