I love life in the melting pot, it's the one thing I really miss about living in London, there's just a degree of culture clash that you don't get outside of the capital.
london is rather unique in regards to beign a succesful melting a pot in europe, mostly because of the world spanning empire in the past ... in the rest of europe immigration from (former) colonies was either non existant or cause massive problems like visible with france
also UK has a convienent geographic location to control it's illegal immigrations

I really did, it was such a nice place to let the 17-40 f4.0L stretch it's legs!
I was on a Cruise and hit alot of Countries in the Med, and honestly, while we were only in portugal for a short time, it and Spain were my favorite countries, albeit I was in Spain for three times the time I was in portugal for, Portugal still beat the tits off France. Food was awesome, Climate, Scenery, People....the wine. Okay Italy might have better food. But just barely :D

I will always have a soft spot for Atari. My first PC in 1987 was an Atari 1040 ST Mega 2 which had (hang on to something...) 2 Megabytes of RAM and a 8Mhz CPU. I added on a HUGE 20MB hard drive the size of a shoebox. I bought it coz of the built-in MIDI port which I used to drive my recording studio.
In it's day it was a GREAT computer!!!

Trying to tell y'all... the Verizon iPhone released in February may truly have switched up the game.
Apple & Verizon came together, and will make LTE work within the iPhone sooner than later, and AT&T is playing catch-up within their entire layout of LTE.
If there is indeed a wait on the iPhone 5(no June/July release), I'd expect it coming with LTE in the 1st quarter of 2012, or possibly this fall. Apple is making COIN on the iPhone 4, and the next big thing is - LTE(4G).
Apple is playing this smart as usual... Or this all could be a rumor, and the iPhone 5 will be here in a couple months for a 'normal' launch update, and the iPhone 6 will be the first to introduce LTE in 2012.
I really don't know... but I do think Apple is playing the Ace of Spades, and may hold on for a new release of the iPhone 4(especially in Verizon's case - Feb '11) before the market, and more emphatically, Verizon's market adoption is seen & heard... Think about it... Apple releases the Verizon iPhone in February, then 4 months later releases a new iPhone - there is some bad business going on there.

The other big advantage Apple has is they can give all iPhone4 customers a cool upgrade without touching the hardware. If they do a significant change with iOS5, it might be more than enough to carry us for another 6 months without any hardware envy.

it only has a cdrom drive. it can handle 360 mb ram (max)

Unfortunately the lowest version of PT that will run on Snow Leopard is 8.0.4. You'll have to stay on 10.5 or get an upgrade to at least PT 8.

I was disappointed that there was nothing for the Mac. Even just release dates/months for Leopard and iWork 07 would have sated me.
The iPhone is cool, but it's too expensive and has far too little memory for me to actually consider buying it.

Go to settings,general,scroll down to international. Might be hard to decipher as it is a foreign language. International is the 4th one up from the bottom.

This rumor kinda makes me laugh. Something about having a rumor about an update to a product that we haven't even seen yet seems comical to me.
I am in the market for a new phone though. Looking at the rumored BB 8800 or the Apple phone if it's up to par. Only time will tell.

Usually I charge it by the job and in some cases, there will be add on's and I usually charge $50-$75 per hour for that work. I have a few NPO's and for them I start my quotes to them at $300 for the job.
From the sounds of this guy you're dealing with, I would just move on and forget him. Finish whatever you've started and end it there.
You charge peanuts you get greedy monkey IMHO. Pushing the price ups generally discourages the crappy clients in my experience, clients will generally pay what they think the service is worth (not just design here).

I have just purchased a print server so I can print from my PC laptop and my iMac DV (OSX) to my Canon printer. I have the PC printing wireless fine but I can not get the iMac to print. Where have I gone wrong?
