Kids are only as responsible as their parents. Would you give your kid $1000 cash to walk around the mall with and blame the store if they sold the kid a pack of gum using your cash? Of course not. It's not the kid's fault, 100% irresponsible parents. They gave their kids a form of payment (yeah, an iphone is an electronic payment method just like a credit card), and but not for that action the charge wouldn't have taken place. I don't want to have to press BUY 5 times and enter my password 5 times because Shaniqwa can't supervise her 8 kids who she gives an iPod with a billing account tied to her name to. Even more entertaining is the fact that Apple is so arrogant they fail to realize how stupid they look.

Looks like mostly bug fixes. Only thing new I have found is the result of putting a window out of focus.
iCal is still same design too.

I don't see this happening, TV technology changes to fast to get stuck with an expensive TV that you need to keep for many years to justify the higher price.

I now have 2 gpu's running which should put up some additional points. I have stopped the cpu folding on that machine, it wasn't doing nearly as many ppd in windows as it was in linux. Hopefully I can push over the 400k ppw mark but we shall see.
I am used to win xp at work but win 7 has been a challenge to figure out, so many things have changed...

Why on earth would this happen? Why would they edit it to include the ix.Mac.MarketingName? I don't understand. Is there any logical explanation? I don't think it is a typo because I don't think Apple is stupid enough to edit it just in order to put a typo in. Weird.

I really don't think that the 6870 will be in the 27 inch version. The current card (5750) has a power draw of 86 watts. The 6870 has a draw of 151 watts. Too much heat.

You're looking at the desktop cards. Imacs use laptop GPU's.
The 5750 in the current imac is actually a 5850m. A 6850m is actually slower than that. They will need a 6950m or 6970m to be an upgrade.

Anyhow, I find myself using Pages more often. I'll just tell my boss to buy a Mac Mini if he wants to read my documents. :D

For Mac users, why would we want to install Vista-(via BootCamp) and then also use it under virtualization?
What situation is there that you would want to run the same OS on the same box, one natively installed and one in virtualization?:confused:
well I would want to install Vista in bootcamp to play games... and the same one under parallels to be able to do simple tasks in windows without having to reboot OSX... :-) until parallels comes up with that 3d enabled version we'll have to install it twice ;-)
